Death's Embrace
Death's Embrace

I've been contemplating death lately. The fact of eternal emptiness is a terrifying thought. However, I found some comfort in it. The fact that life ends makes it beautiful. I came to the conclusion that since time on our earth is limited, we should seize every moment and make it count.
Below is a lore to this illustration written by my dear friend:
"In my embrace they depart with me. This poor girl, severed from her current life without just cause. An end that came too early; for a mad man's wish. She fought well and true, but in the end it didn't matter. She lost not only her dignity but life. I have seen forever time, but there is one that I do not see. Beyond the veil of life, beyond the reach of death, there lies something more... This poor girl will now join the other souls in the embrace and comfort of what even I do not know. I bid you farewell, and wish that one day, I too, may join you."
