A recent commission for a private client who wanted an illustration of a custom D&D race they created.

The Feralith is a creature born from a desperate prayer for protection. Guardian bound to nature, yet driven by an untamed predatory instinct. Descendants of this ancient being inherit both its gift and its curse: a deep connection to the wild and a primal rage that never truly sleeps.

While developing this piece, I wanted to focus on the creature’s predatory nature and create a dark, unsettling atmosphere. The design balances elements of prey and predator, combining the silhouette of a stag with a haunting, almost supernatural presence lurking within the forest. My biggest deisgn influences were the Wendigo as well as the Leshen.
